ABOUT ME

I’m a design student at Auburn University College of Architecture, Design and Construction. My focus of study highlights an interdisciplinary nature that connects several facets of design from architecture, graphic design, industrial design. This concentration allows for a broader outlook on solving problems and using multiple assets of design to bolster my creativity when attempting challenging solutions. That is what I enjoy doing in terms of design. I enjoy using a broad range of design elements that allow me to gain a comprehensive understanding of a project and can start and end a project with multiple solutions. With an interest in architecture, I feel as if this interdisciplinary skill gives me a certain edge in tackling a project. This edge specifically is using a diverse set of skills that again highlights a connection between multiple disciplines in design that I will utilize in my area of interest in making structures that also connect to their environment. I believe fostering this connection improves the quality of the project by creating a relationship between the building and the environment, but also between people and the environment. I want to create a relationship that allows them to seamlessly cross from place to building without separating the two.
